True Story: Our exercise science instructor and UNC at Chapel Hill graduate Ruhi Dholakia saw the 200 Workouts board this week and said, “wow, that’s a lot of workouts!” But is it? Let’s examine that.
“Fitness is a journey, not a destination. It can easily be a way of life if you make it a top priority.”
When we become sedentary for a long period of time, any exercise seems cumbersome to our body. It hurts to do things that we are not accustomed to.
However, a great transformation happens when we develop a fitness routine – our body tells us its uncomfortable NOT to work out!
Commentary About Michele
Michele has quickly developed a routine that works for her. She makes the commitment to her health and sticks to it to the best of her ability. The fact that ExPo LIFE FITNESS is very close to her home makes it easy.
A ‘rest day’ is actually a workout! It’s a day to recover and allow the body to heal. Michele has learned to listen to her body when it says, “hey, it’s a rest day for us, ok?”
Michele inspires others and also feeds off the energy of others. Today, we cheered on Michele at the alternating battle rope station where she surpassed the 8 minute mark by more than doubling her personal best!
We are so blessed to have Michele and the many others that have joined ExPo LIFE FITNESS to allow us to take care of their health and fitness needs.
