Hey ExPo LIFE FITNESS Followers!
We now have our 6th ExPo Ultimate Member who has completed 100 ExPo Ultimate Workouts. Whoop Whoop!
We would like to congratulate Byron on this big accomplishment!
Byron joined ExPo LIFE FITNESS shortly after we opened our doors to the community last year. He takes full advantage of the proximity of ExPo LIFE to his home where he walks or runs to his workouts, weather permitting.
Byron is the type of ExPo member that you can count on to show up, bring his best, and deliver that unique smile when the fitness work is done for the day.
Reaching 100 ExPo Ultimate Workouts requires dedication and having a positive attitude.
An example of Byron’s positive attitude was last year when I facilitated one of the hardest workouts we have ever done at ExPo for intermediate-to-advanced members.
Most people would naturally be exhausted afterwards with no room for levity, but not Byron.
I asked him how the workout was (knowing it was difficult) and Byron responded with a grin on his face, “that was a good one!”
Fitness is for everyone, even if you are a Fungi! (inside joke for Byron)

What is Your Most Memorable Moment Over the Past 100 Workouts?
Byron: I enjoyed the week long ExPo Fitness Challenge Week and doing something different each of those days. This week is a measurable fitness test for members that lasts 7 days that tracks your progress.
What is Your Favorite ExPo LIFE Workout and Why?
Byron: Wednesday’s are my favorite because it is ‘strength day’. I love working out on the machines in a cycle because it makes me feel like I am getting stronger.
What Are You Most Proud of After Conducting 100 ExPo Ultimate Workouts?
Byron: I am so happy to get back into a routine of working out in the morning a few days each week. I feel so much better after the workouts.
What Motivates You to Stay on Your Fitness Path and What Advice Can You Give Others to Jumpstart Their Own Fitness?
Byron: What is motivating for me is working out with someone or a group of people. It is very powerful to have my wife, Michele, and Charles from the neighborhood in the 5:30am classes with me.
