We now have our 8th ExPo Ultimate Member who has completed 100 ExPo Ultimate Workouts.
We would like to congratulate Tanya on this big accomplishment!
Tanya joined ExPo LIFE FITNESS last year and brought with her an energy and spark that compliments the facility quite well. As an avid tennis player, Tanya has personal and athletic goals outside of her daily profession. Tanya has found ExPo LIFE FITNESS workouts assisting in all of her daily activities.
The first time you meet Tanya, you feel as if you have known her for years!
Reaching 100 ExPo Ultimate Workouts requires dedication, a positive attitude, and a supportive network.
An example of Tanya’s supportive network are her buddies in their preferred morning time slot where they rely upon each other for motivation, including car rides! Being just 5 minutes away helps as well.
One of the biggest compliments Tanya gave us was when she described a conversation with one of her tennis colleagues shortly after she joined ExPo LIFE. They noticed her hitting the tennis ball a lot harder and they asked, “what have you been doing differently???” In Tanya’s soft spoken, always eloquent tone she had replied….
“Well, I joined this new gym.”
We give Tanya all the credit for her advancement because she has made health and fitness a top priority in her life.

What is Your Most Memorable Moment Over the Past 100 Workouts?
Tanya: We were doing “pistols” (basically a squat on one leg) last week and I noticed that I was able to get much lower than when I first did this exercise on my very first workout.
It is nice to see the gains! I could hardly lower myself the first time I did it.
Another memorable moment is when Brad was wearing a headband. Brad wearing a headband signifies it’s going to be a hard sweaty workout!
What is Your Favorite ExPo LIFE Workout and Why?
Tanya: My favorite workout is the ExPo Glutes class on Fridays. I have had knee issues in the past from tennis and spent almost 2 years in and out of PT to strengthen my hips and glutes. This workout hits all the right areas to keep these muscles strong!
What Are You Most Proud of After Conducting 100 ExPo Ultimate Workouts?
Tanya: I am proud for simply showing up and being consistent. Between my family, working full time, and finishing my doctorate of nursing degree my time is stretched.
ExPo LIFE encourages me to commit to my fitness goals! Thank you Brad and Lisa for all that you do!
What Motivates You to Stay on Your Fitness Path and What Advice Can You Give Others to Jumpstart Their Own Fitness?
Tanya: I am a nurse practitioner by training. I have seen the consequences of not staying on a fitness path first hand. My motivation is focused on longevity!
My grandparents have lived well into their 90’s and even 100 years old so I want to be able to enjoy a long life! I also enjoy playing tennis. After many tennis injuries I have found that the best way to stay injury free is to focus on functional fitness.
Since joining ExPo LIFE I have been injury free. The weights and close supervision from Brad, Lisa and Ruhi have improved my strength and coordination which helps my tennis game!
My advice would be to find an activity you enjoy and find a buddy for support and accountability.
The most success I have had on my fitness journey is when I am being counted on to show up for someone.
I have two friends, Heidi and Laura, that I carpool to the gym with. There have been plenty of times I would not have gone to a 7:15am workout but I did go and it was because they were waiting for me to pick them up!
