Disinfection & Safety Protocols

More and more people are returning to their fitness facilities and seeing first hand how safe it can be IF these facilities and employees take appropriate actions necessary to keep clients safe.

At ExPo LIFE we are going to tell you exactly what we are doing right down to the products, procedures, and protocols used.

• ExPo LIFE has current documented written protocols and procedures to keep all staff and clients safe.

• ExPo LIFE only uses EPA-approved products in accordance with CDC guidelines that safely kills pathogens and viruses that includes the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).

• ExPo LIFE removes dirt/debris that prepares surfaces for disinfection, sanitizing sprays where applicable, and disinfection applications on all applicable equipment throughout the facility.

• ExPo LIFE invests in top of the line HVAC air filters to remove airborne particles as an added safety measure.

The safety of our clients, trainers, and staff will always be our top priority. Every staff member goes through disinfection and sanitation training/testing and receives individual certification.

We believe it is important to proactively communicate what we are doing to make it safe for everyone. Below are a few of the many things we are doing to build comfort with our community and establish the necessary trust that we are keeping everyone safe.

Touchless Check-In
Hands-free barcode key tag scanning, online check-in for group classes, ExPo CAFE purchases are done directly with client account (no cash/credit card needed). 

Touchless Bathrooms
Hands-free sink faucets, foot-operated door opener, and automatic paper towel dispensers.

Face Coverings
We are following the current state and local protocols within the facility and will adjust our protocols accordingly.

Social Distancing
We are following the state’s current requirements of client spacing and occupancy limits.

Enhanced Cleaning
All high contact surface areas are continuously cleaned with soap and water to remove visible dirt/debris to prepare surfaces to be disinfected.

Sanitizer Applicators
Sanitizing products will be used in between disinfecting treatment of surfaces and equipment to significantly reduce any potential bacteria. Hands-free sanitizing stations will be made available throughout the facility.

Disinfecting Applicators
Utilization of cutting edge technology with an electromagnetic sprayer by Victory Innovations to disinfect all nonporous surfaces, equipment, mats, floors, and bathrooms. We will never use cleaning clothes/towels as they are breeding grounds for bacteria, germs, and viruses that only cause the spreading of these unwanted cells to multiple surfaces.

Electromagnetic sprayers have a ‘Wraparound Effect’ that has been proven to improve infection control and disinfect hard-to-reach places by 50% compared to conventional methods such as spray bottles and wipes.

The ‘Wraparound Effect’ allows for greater disinfection coverage on numerous ExPo LIFE equipment such as dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, mats, and treadmills, just to name a few.

All HVAC Systems
Every HVAC comes equipped with high-efficiency particulate (HEPA) filters. HEPA filters are top of the line pleated mechanical air filters that remove 99.995% of airborne particles according to the United States Department of Energy (DOE).
